Michael El Werr Carries the Jordanian Flag at the Opening of the “Dakar 2026” Youth Olympic Games

Al-Taj News – The fourth edition of the Youth Olympic Games “Dakar 2026” was opened on Saturday evening at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in the Senegalese city of Diamniadio, hosted by Senegal and running until November 13, marking the first time the African continent hosts an Olympic event.

The opening ceremony witnessed festive atmospheres interspersed with artistic and cultural performances that reflected Senegalese and African heritage, in the presence of sports delegations participating in the games.

The Jordanian flag entered within the parade of flags of participating nations, where national swimming team athlete Michael El Werr carried the Jordanian flag, in a scene that represented Jordanian participation in this Olympic gathering.
